(Dublin, Ohio) — The City of Dublin has earned the No. 3 ranking on the 100 Best Green Fleets list in the 2022 National Fleet Management Association Awards and was awarded eighth place in the Top 50 Leading Fleets from Government Fleet.
This year’s Green Fleet winners were announced at the Sustainable Fleet Technology Conference and Expo in Durham, North Carolina. Dublin jumped to the third spot after receiving the No. 5 ranking on the 2021 Fleets list. The Green Fleet Award is open to all federal, state and local government fleets in North America.
According to the NAFA Fleet Management Association, this award recognizes government and commercial fleet organizations that “execute groundbreaking and ingenious green initiatives.”
This is the 11th consecutive year that Dublin has been named on the Top 50 list in Government Fleet Magazine. The 50 leading fleets were evaluated and ranked in order of the final Top 20 in May 2022 during the Government Fleet Expo & Conference in Detroit, Michigan. The City of Dublin’s fleet ranked as the eighth best in the nation.
Government Fleet evaluates fleets based on “showing leadership with staff, customers and within the community; staying efficient and competitive; overcoming challenges; and having a vision and direction for the operation.”
